Effective implementation of utility programs involves mastery of a wide variety of talents and capabilities including management, planning and budgeting, financial analysis, technologies, training, customer service, marketing and sales, logistics, process improvement, data capture and reporting, research, analytics, and safety. The Implementation Topic Committee serves as a forum for open discussion with recognized experts in the field, an opportunity to explore innovative and successful program designs and strategies, and provides a variety of ways to share current information with all AESP members concerning challenges and opportunities facing today’s program implementers.

Topic Committee Activities
The Implementation Topic Committee is deeply involved in reviewing presentation abstracts for the National Conference to ensure that the content presented represents refreshing and innovative approaches to program implementation, covers topics of interest to program implementation personnel across the industry, and focuses on opportunities for personal development and ways to constantly improve program designs, practices and techniques.
We do this via an in-person planning meeting at our National Conference, conducting teleconferences to stay in touch through throughout the year, writing articles on new and emerging program implementation issues for our Strategies newsletter, organizing Brown Bag Webinars to disseminate information throughout the AESP membership, and staying involved in all aspects of the Association's activities.
