MJ Clark, Integrated Leadership Systems
This interactive session will cover the crucial role of self-awareness in developing successful relationships and help participants pinpoint behaviors that impact work performance by reviewing the four core abilities of emotional intelligence. Ms. Clark will cover how participants can identify their emotional triggers and improve their work by understanding how the brain processes emotion. She will also discuss how staying cool and building confidence can boost productivity and how to develop leadership skills by recognizing office behaviors to more productively manage relationships. This morning workshop will include activities and interactive discussion to reinforce the concepts presented, and participants will leave with concrete goals and action items to pursue to enhance their emotional intelligence.
As a senior leadership consultant for Integrated Leadership Systems since 2006, M.J. Clark helps companies with ownership and management succession, strategic planning and executive development. She helps executives keep others accountable, better manage stress, develop emotional intelligence, become more assertive and confident, and fine-tune leadership and management skills.
M.J. has a master's degree in organizational communication from The Ohio State University and a bachelor’s degree in public relations from Ohio University’s Scripps School of Journalism. She is Accredited in Public Relations and is the author of the book Shut Up and Lead: A Communicator’s Guide to Quiet Leadership.

Cancellations received by 5/4/18, will receive a refund, minus a $100 processing fee. Cancellations received after 5/4/18 & no shows will not receive a refund.
